What does it mean that Ámbar is in early access?
That Ámbar is opening up to organizations gradually while it’s being finished, so it still changes: a screen, a button or a name in this guide may look different in your app. Your Arbol team tells you whether your organization can use it, turns it on and helps you set it up.
Why don’t I see a menu item?
For one of three reasons:
- Your organization doesn’t use that module. Each organization turns on only what it uses, such as Cohortes y programas de seguimiento (cohorts and follow-up programs), Estudios y autorización médica (studies and medical authorization), Analítica (analytics), Llamadas (calls) or WhatsApp. What it doesn’t use doesn’t appear. Talk to your Arbol team if you need one.
- Your profile can’t open that page. For example, Configuración (settings) is for administration.
- You hid it. Open your account menu (the circle with your initials, top right) and choose Personalizar menú (customize menu) to show it again.
What profile do I have and who changes it?
Your role (Propietario, Administración, Coordinación, Profesional clínico, Análisis or Auditoría: owner, administration, coordination, clinical professional, analysis or audit) is assigned by the owner or an administrator in Configuración › Equipo (settings › team). With it, your access decides what you see: whoever administers care sees every list; with clinical access, Ámbar opens on Mi trabajo (my work), with your work’s lists. If Mi trabajo says Perfil pendiente (profile pending), your account doesn’t have a care profile yet: ask your administrator to check it.
How do I invite someone from my team?
The owner and the administrators do it in Configuración › Equipo (team): click Invitar persona (invite person), type their Correo electrónico (email), choose their Rol (role) and click Enviar invitación (send invitation). They get an invitation to sign in. At the bottom of that page, Qué puede hacer cada rol (what each role can do) summarizes each role’s permissions. A role change takes effect when the person renews their session.
I’m an administrator: how do I see what another profile sees?
Use Ver como (view as), at the top of the app (on small screens, in your account menu), and choose a profile. A bar reminds you it’s a preview: the data and permissions are still yours. Leave it with Salir de la vista previa (exit preview).
How do people get into Ámbar?
In three ways:
- From your organization’s and the payer’s systems and files. The Arbol team sets up those connections with you.
- With a file. In Cargas de archivos (file uploads), someone with permission clicks Cargar archivo (upload file) and uploads a CSV of up to 500 rows to add people to a cohort, without replacing the population. Before publishing, they review each row: create a person, link it to an existing one or skip it. Other formats, such as the payer’s file or RIPS, are set up by the Arbol team.
- One at a time. In Pacientes (patients), with Ingresar persona (add person), or by adding them to a cohort (see Decide who enters a cohort).
Does Ámbar replace the clinical record?
No. Ámbar keeps what gets recorded, with its source and date, and uses it to know what each person is missing. Confirmed care comes from the clinical system, and a call or an unreviewed report doesn’t complete a requirement. Ámbar doesn’t issue invoices either: it keeps what your organization’s billing software issued.
Does Ámbar make clinical decisions?
No. Ámbar proposes and a person decides: the team confirms each cohort entry, and the treating physician authorizes or excludes each proposed care item and closes each clinical alert with a documented decision.
If I log a call, does Ámbar call the person?
No. Registrar › Llamada realizada (record › call made) only notes a call you already made. Ámbar only places a call with Llamada automática (Arbi) (automatic call), after someone on the team approved the contact (see Work through follow-ups).
What do «Sin evaluar» and «Por verificar» mean?
“Not evaluated” and “to be verified”: Ámbar lacks a piece of data to know whether the person meets a requirement. Missing data is never counted as a “no”.
What does the “+” next to a figure mean?
That there’s more than what was looked up. Open the list and load more to see everything.
My screen says «avisos» instead of «atenciones»
Each organization can use its own word for what a person has pending. Ámbar says atenciones pendientes (pending care) unless your organization chose another word; in this guide, “care item” stands for whatever word yours uses.
What is Arbi?
Ámbar’s assistant. If your organization uses it, you open it with Preguntar a Arbi (ask Arbi), at the top of the app; the ? next to each page’s title asks it about that page, and in some lists Arbi drafts texts or places calls that your team approves. Arbi uses your own permissions.
Are there keyboard shortcuts?
Yes. Press ? to see them all. / searches the page, and G followed by a letter opens a page: for example G then P opens Pacientes, G then B opens Brechas de atención (care gaps) and G then T opens Mi trabajo.
Who sets up the connections to the clinical record, the scheduling system or the lab?
The Arbol team. Your organization sees in Ámbar the data that comes in through those connections; you don’t set up how they connect.
