# Arbol documentation

Arbol helps clinics and hospitals answer, schedule and follow up with their patients. Here you learn to use it, one task at a time, whether you're on the clinic's team or a developer.

## How it works

Arbol puts AI agents on your institution's phone, WhatsApp and web chat. They answer during the hours your team sets, after office hours too; they book on the calendar you already use, confirm appointments, offer freed slots again and keep every conversation on record for your team to review.

By phone, WhatsApp or your website's chat.

With your institution's name and what your team taught it.

In Agenda or in the calendar you already use.

Every conversation is on record; whatever needs a person goes to your team.

Your organization uses the Arbol products it has signed up for. They all share your sign-in, your organization and your roles:

| Product | What it's for |
| - | - |
| **Raíz** | The agents that answer and call your patients. The apps show it as **Contactabilidad**. |
| **Agenda** | Your professionals' and sites' schedules: appointments, working hours, services and the waiting list. It's optional: if you already have one, Arbol works on yours. |
| **Ámbar** | Governance: who to look after first and why, and how far you are from meeting your contract. In early access. |
| **Account** | Your organization: its members and roles, its API keys and its integrations. |

**Arbi** is your team's assistant: you ask it for a report, a list or a campaign as you'd ask a colleague, in the app or on WhatsApp. See [Arbi](/en/arbi/).

> **No clinical advice**
>
> An agent doesn't diagnose or give clinical advice: its instructions must say so, and say what to do on a warning sign, following your institution's protocol, and when to hand the conversation to a person. Clinical decisions are always your team's. How to write that is in [What prompting is](/en/raiz/prompting/).

## Choose your path

- **Get started** — Your first day: signing in, knowing your role and finding each app.
- **Raíz** — Create agents, follow conversations and look after your contacts.
- **Agenda** — Book, reschedule and cancel appointments; organize schedules and services.
- **Ámbar** — Clinical and operational governance, in early access.
- **Arbi** — Your team's assistant in every app and on WhatsApp: ask it for reports, lists and changes you approve.
- **Account** — For administrators: members, roles, API keys and integrations.
- **Developers** — The API, MCP, the SDKs and the CLI to connect Arbol with your systems.

## For AI agents

Every page is also available as Markdown: add `index.md` to its address. The whole site's index is at [/llms.txt](/llms.txt), and the skills for agents at [/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json](/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json). More in [Docs for AI agents](/en/developers/ai-agents/).

## Need help?

If something doesn't work the way a guide describes, or you don't see an option a guide mentions, talk to your organization's administrator: your role may not include it. For anything else, write to your Arbol team.
